Practical Network Security & Defense

Build, monitor and defend a network the way a real blue team does.

⏱ 18 hours ▤ 30 lessons ◎ 2 enrolled ✦ Certificate on completion

About this course

Defense is a craft, and this course teaches it from the ground up. Starting with how packets actually move, you will stand up a small network, instrument it, and then defend it against live attacks run by your instructor.

You will configure firewalls and segmentation, deploy an IDS, read real packet captures in Wireshark, and build detection rules that catch the techniques attackers really use. The final module walks through a full incident: detection, containment, eradication and the write-up.

Perfect for anyone starting a blue-team or SOC career, or developers who want to understand the network their code runs on.
